A wonderful friend was working with her students on social skills. She decided to use the game go fish to help her students gain skills such as turn taking, asking nicely, working together, etc. She stepped back to let the students work independently. All was going very smooth until she heard, "I do not have any rainbow fish! Quit asking me that!" Being shouted.
One of the students had asked her partner every turn, "do you have any rainbow fish?"
Finally in exasperation he yelled. My friend just listened to make sure they were doing well. The student finally drew a rainbow fish match, but she then drew a rainbow fish out of the pile. So her next question was, "do you have any rainbow fish?"
This question did not go well with the exasperated student.
