I had a high school helper in my classroom working with a student. The student was doing a file folder game and wanted the pieces cut out (they were just in boxes). The high school helper obliged the request, but was working too slow for my student's liking.
My student said to me- "We need new scissors these are broken."
Me- "What's wrong with them?"
Student- "They are working too slow."
I told her it was an operator error and not a scissor error.
